We support your well-being through these challenging times.
Although COVID-19 is impacting many aspects of life, our team is still available to support your health. Our clinic remains open with hygiene measures to protect our patients and our staff. We have always upheld a strict hand-washing policy and we sanitize each area after every use for a clean and sanitary environment for all patients. There will be a maximum of up to five people in the entire facility at one time to be compliant with social distancing rules.
We are taking these additional measures that follow CDC guidelines:
- Staff and patient are advised to reschedule any appointments if not feeling well or have symptoms such as cough, sore throat, or fever.
- Everyone must wash or sanitize their hands immediately upon entering the facility.
- Since we have two separate waiting rooms, patients can arrive 5 minutes prior to treatment time and 15 minutes prior initial evaluation time.
- No visitors are allowed in the office unless directly required for patient care.
- No children should come to the clinic with patient for treatment sessions. If a child must accompany the patient, treatment will occur in a treatment room only and the child will have to stay in the room at all times.
- Your therapist will disinfect equipment and treatment area before and after you use it. Your therapist will be wearing a mask throughout the entire session.
- Upon arrival, we will offer to you a mask and pair of gloves if you wish to use them.
- There will be a maximum of up to five people in the entire facility at one time to be compliant with social distancing rules.
All patients are welcome: private patients with or without insurance, work related accidents, and automobile related accidents.
A medical prescription is not required to see us. However, certain insurance companies may require a medical prescription in order to reimburse your treatments.
Patient who will see us for work related accidents and automobile related accident patients need a doctor’s prescription prior to seeing us.
Your physical therapist will ask you questions about your condition to determine if your case is appropriate for therapy. He/she will complete specific tests to find the source of the problem and will determine the most optimal treatment.
If you have a doctor’s referral or any x-rays or scans relating to your injury or cause of your discomfort, bring them to your first visit. Also, bring appropriate clothing such as a pair of shorts, if you come to us for your knee or leg problem.
Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to show the body part that is problematic. If you are coming for a running biomechanics evaluation, bring your running shoes.
Your first visit will be approximately 45 minutes. During that time, you will have our total attention.
You will need to arrive 15 min prior to your appointment to register and to fill out a few forms. These forms can be e-mailed to you ahead of time, if you wish.
We will determine the number of visits at your first session. The number of visits will be based on your specific condition, your input, and your goals.
We are committed to deliver the most effective treatments. Sometimes just 1 time a week or 1 time a month is enough.
The best results are based on YOUR input and your homework. We can usually tell if we are on track in 3 visits.
At our clinic all sessions are one-on-one with licensed physical therapists. You will not be treated by physical therapy assistants or rehab aides.
Your physical therapists will not treat multiple patients during the same session. You will receive the full undivided attention of a highly skilled physical therapist at every visit.
Due to the high level of training and one-on-one treatments, our patients need fewer visits compared to traditional physical therapy places where therapist treat multiple patients during the same session.
You will notice the quality and personal attention!
Follow-up visits are approximately 45 minutes. These visits are important for us to understand your response to the first treatment. Our goal is to progress you onto the next stage of your rehabilitation with each visit.
Our reception staff can discuss this with you when you call.
We accept most credit cards, checks, and cash. We do require payment at the time of consultation.
We require a minimum 24 hours’ notice to cancel appointments. This provides our practice with an opportunity to offer your appointment to another patient. If you do not provide 24 hours’ notice, you will be the subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
